FREEGO HARDWARE WARRANTY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION
This Hardware Warranty Policy ("Warranty Policy") explains the warranty coverage, limitations, and service procedures for hardware products purchased from FreeGo.
This Warranty Policy applies to hardware supplied by FreeGo, including but not limited to:
Receipt printers
Kitchen printers
Tablets
POS devices
Cash drawers
Barcode scanners
Accessories
Other approved hardware equipment
2. WARRANTY PERIOD
Unless otherwise stated, hardware purchased from FreeGo includes a limited warranty period.
The warranty period begins from:
The date of purchase; or
The date of delivery;
whichever is applicable.
Different products may have different warranty periods.
The specific warranty period will be stated in the purchase invoice or product documentation.
3. WARRANTY COVERAGE
During the warranty period, FreeGo may provide repair or replacement for hardware defects caused by:
Manufacturing defects
Hardware component failure
Defects under normal intended use
FreeGo will determine whether the issue qualifies for warranty coverage.
4. WARRANTY SERVICE
Warranty service may include:
Remote troubleshooting
Technical support
Repair
Replacement of defective components
Replacement of hardware unit (where applicable)
FreeGo reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution.
5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers must:
Use hardware according to provided instructions
Maintain proper operating conditions
Protect devices from damage
Provide accurate purchase information
Cooperate during troubleshooting
6. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Warranty does not cover damage caused by:
6.1 Physical Damage
Including:
Drops
Cracks
Broken parts
Liquid damage
Fire damage
Accidental damage
6.2 Improper Use
Including:
Incorrect installation
Unauthorized modification
Use outside recommended conditions
Use with incompatible equipment
6.3 External Factors
Including:
Power surge
Electrical issues
Unstable power supply
Internet connection problems
Environmental conditions
6.4 Consumable Parts
Warranty generally does not cover consumable items such as:
Printer paper
Ink or printing materials
Cables
Batteries (unless defective under warranty)
Wear-and-tear components
7. THIRD-PARTY HARDWARE
Where FreeGo provides third-party branded hardware, warranty coverage may follow the manufacturer's warranty terms.
FreeGo may assist customers in coordinating warranty claims but does not guarantee third-party warranty outcomes.
8. SOFTWARE & HARDWARE ISSUES
Hardware warranty does not cover:
Software configuration issues
Incorrect menu setup
Network problems
Internet connection issues
Third-party application issues
These may be handled separately through technical support services.
9. INSTALLATION & CONFIGURATION
Unless specifically included in the purchase package:
Hardware warranty does not include:
Business setup
Menu configuration
Employee training
Network installation
Custom integration
Additional service fees may apply.
10. REPAIR & REPLACEMENT
If hardware is determined to be defective:
FreeGo may:
Repair the device;
Replace defective components;
Provide a replacement unit.
Replacement hardware may be:
New;
Refurbished;
Equivalent functionality equipment.
11. SHIPPING & TRANSPORTATION
Unless otherwise stated:
Customers may be responsible for:
Shipping costs
Transportation fees
Packaging requirements
FreeGo is not responsible for damage caused during customer-arranged transportation.
12. DATA RESPONSIBILITY
Before sending any hardware for repair, customers are responsible for:
Backing up data
Removing confidential information
Protecting business information
FreeGo is not responsible for data loss during hardware repair or replacement.
13. LOAN EQUIPMENT
Where available, FreeGo may provide temporary replacement equipment during repair.
Availability is not guaranteed.
14. MODIFICATION OR UNAUTHORIZED REPAIR
Warranty coverage may become invalid if the hardware has been:
Opened by unauthorized persons
Modified
Repaired by unauthorized service providers
Installed with unauthorized components
15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
FreeGo shall not be responsible for:
Loss of business income
Lost sales
Operational interruption
Customer dissatisfaction
Data loss
Indirect damages
caused by hardware failure.
16. REFUND & RETURN
Hardware warranty does not automatically provide a refund.
Refund requests are subject to the FreeGo Refund Policy.
17. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
To request warranty service, customers should provide:
Merchant account details
Purchase invoice
Hardware serial number (if applicable)
Description of issue
Supporting photos or videos where required
